PPHU PALIMEX Sp. z o.o. was established on October 2, 1990. The company’s headquarters is located in Włoszakowice, near Leszno, in the Greater Poland region. The company belongs to the PALETTEN-SERVICE Hamburg group and is one of the leading pallet manufacturers in Poland.
The company’s core business is the production of wooden packaging, particularly EPAL-licensed EUR flat pallets.
Since its inception, the company has held a license to produce EUR pallets. Until mid-June 1992, this license was issued by PKP (Polish State Railways) under number 030. In July 1992, the company received the first license in Poland, issued by DB (German Railways), under number PL-210, which it still holds today, but now issued by EPAL (European Pallet Organization). Additionally, the company obtained an EPAL license to produce EPAL 2 and EPAL 6 pallets (also with the number PL-210), and an EPAL license to repair EPAL 1 pallets (PL-470). The first pallets were nailed together using a nailer from the German company Bohm & Kruse. After producing 100,000 Euro pallets, the company received self-control, or level 2 inspection. PALIMEX is the first company in Poland to produce EPAL pallets with QR codes.

Nowoczesna technologia
Palimex sp. z o.o. currently has four production lines for EPAL 1, EPAL 2, EPAL 6, and other non-standard pallets.
The plant has its own network of boilers with a total heating capacity of 5 MW. The boilers power the entire plant and nine MUHLBOCK and SECEA dryers. It is also equipped with two wood chippers, including one designed for the disposal of entire pallets. Produced pallets are cleaned on an automatic line to remove residual fringes, shavings, sawdust, and wood dust. The company has a MEGA vehicle fleet with a single load capacity of 812 Euro pallets, also belonging to the Palletten Service Hamburg group.
